Eeten en drinken bij de Grolsch Veste

Eeten en drinken bij de Grolsch Veste

Beer? Grolsch. Grolsch and more Grolsch. Surprise surprise. Oddly though it tastes different to the UK version, more bitter and much more akin to a German pilsener. In the supporter's bars, 4 munts gets you a pint. Also available was the Herfst bok, and lovely it is too. 2.5 munts for a half.

Machines to exchange your cash for munts are in the supporters bars and the stadium itself. There were no queues. The minimum you could exchange your cash for munts for was 10 Euros.

As for food, burgers, braadworst (tasty they were) or the local speciality Twenteham baps (chopped ham cooked on a griddle) were all your for 2 munts. The queues went quickly and the service was efficient. All in all, a great fan experience to go alongside the match.
